Welcome to Dessert Works Custom Cakes photo gallery. We specialize in delicious, custom designed cakes for all of life’s special occasions. Our chefs are motivated by the thank you cards and letters we receive from so many of our customers who are thrilled with the edible art we produce. We take inspiration from Mother Nature, fine art, textiles, and furniture, but most of our inspiration comes from our customers who challenge us to create cakes which are meant to WOW their guests!

Use these photos as inspiration and then let us know what you have in mind for your special cake! There’s no cake too big, too small, or too detailed!

Since your custom creation is unique, it requires the chef’s special attention and we require a minimum of 2 weeks notice. Typically we consider custom cakes to be a cutout of a shape/object or a 3D object/figurine on the cake. Cake designs which are 2D (flat), whether handmade or computer-generated edible image, are not considered custom, but do require at least 4 days notice.

We’d be honored to create a custom masterpiece for your birthday, shower, groom’s cake or any special occasion! However, we limit the number of these cakes we create each week because it is important to us that we give your custom creation the attention it deserves. All custom cakes are priced individually based on the complexity of the design, the flavor and the number of people it needs to serve. Your request will be submitted to Chef Kristen Repa and you will receive an estimate back from us within 72 hours. Our quotes are secured with your advance payment; without a deposit, a quote is only good for 2 weeks.

In order to start the process of pricing out a cake for you, we'll ask for the following information from you:

• Name (first & last)
• Phone Number
• Email address
• Number of people you’d like the cake to serve
• Cake flavor (see our menu)
• Date of event
• Time of Event
• Whether the cake will be picked up or delivered. If picked up, we'll need the pickup time; if delivered, we'll need the venue name, street address, and your guests’ arrival time.
• Description and/or Pictures
• Budget
